Bridal Session | Columbia Gorge River

I've been dreaming of stopping at this location along I84 in the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic area for months. I just never made it happen. We were always on a time frame and needed to be somewhere. I was waiting for the perfect couple that was willing to adventure to new places even though we had no idea what lay ahead. A bridal session was perfect for my vision at this location. It also gave us all the Scotland and Norwegian vibes I could have ever dreamed of.

Bridal Session

They didn't care. They didn't even bat an eye. These are my kind of people. Ones that love adventure and exploring new places. Couples that are willing to get a little chilly or take their shoes off. Let's face it, that's one thing I really love! Especially when it's a bride on her wedding day or a bridal session days or weeks later. When getting your dress dirty, doesn't mean the end of the world. My dream clients feel the same way. We can always make magic, so let's explore an unknown to us area and see what new memories can be made. Another great thing about a session, making new memories.

I love when my couples give me a little piece of them to share with all of you. So take a look at this proposal and enjoy! Cause she is still chatting about it even years later.

Forust & Kelsey's engagement recapped by Kelsey

I had the best bubble bath of my life on December 31, 2016 – does that sound weird? At the end of 2016, Forust surprised me with a trip to southern Oregon to ring in the New Year. He had bought tickets to a local theatre company’s production of South Pacific and booked a room with a massive Jacuzzi bathtub, the ultimate luxury to me. I am a bath person – not just a quick relaxing soak – but four-plus hour endeavors complete with Netflix and dinner (read: chicken wings) surrounded by bubbles and fizzy bath bombs. This bath, though, was a special one. Forust played the countdown from Times Square on the TV and popped a bottle of sparkling wine while I relaxed in a blanket of tiny bubbles. Three. Two. One. Forust turned around with a glass of champagne and a ring. “Will you marry me?”

Later he told me he had been carrying the ring with him all day because he was not sure where we would end up at midnight but he knew he would pop the question as the ball dropped. So yeah, I had the best bubble bath of my life on December 31, 2016.
